日前，广州一家民企向职员征收孝顺税。公司自动扣除已婚职员5%、单身职员10%的薪资，直接将它打给他们的爸爸妈妈。

该公司表示，期望通过这一做法提升职员的道德价值（good moral values）。该公司负责人表示：公司很多青年源于农村，所受教育有限（poorly educated），因此公司期望能鼓励他们尽孝道（inspire filial respect among them for their parents）。大家招聘新职员时，职员须认可这个规定，不承认将不予招录（will not be hired）。一入职，职员就要提供爸爸妈妈的银行账户（bank account）。

据了解，公司还按期举办按期讲坛（holds regular classes），教育职员要尽孝道（filial piety）。
